Title The cytokine status and immunocorrecting therapy for children of preschool age with bronchopulmonary pathology

Abstract The study of immune system with bronchopulmonary pathology reveals characteristic features of its functioning, which are substantially connected to development and maturing of immune system of the child. The recent investigations have shown that in children with diseases of bronchopulmonary system even during clinical well-being and at absence of the signs of acute respiratory diseases there are found clear changes in the intercellular interaction in the immune system. The measurement of the level of proinflammatory cytokines TNFα, IL-1β and IL-4 has been performed in often sick children at the age of from 3 till 7 years at stage of an episode acute respiratory infection (ARI) (n=35) and in the period of remission (n=35). The analysis of efficiency of preparation Imunorix has been performed in this category of children. The use of Imunorix having immunocorrecting activity (under which action there was lowering of IL-1β and increase in IL-4 and TNF-α) induced structural changes in the immune system and consequently resulted in reduction of morbidity rate.
