Guide to authors
Authors Guidelines
Atlas Publishing, LP accepts original research articles, short communications, and review articles in all scientific fields including but not limited to Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Environmental sciences, Food sciences, Animal Sciences, Genome, Genetics, Biotechnology, Marine sciences, Microbiology, Molecular biology, Plant sciences, Forensic sciences, Ecology, physics, chemistry, Mathematical Sciences, Computer Applications, etc.
Manuscript Preparation
The following guidelines apply to all Atlas journals. Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word, 12 pt Arial or Times New Roman font, a page margin of 1" (2.4 cm) in all sides, and tables and figures in one file. The manuscripts must have the following items in order and must be less than 50 pages long including the text, figures, and tables.
1. Page Title
The title page must contain:
- A full title of the manuscript
- Authors full names (first and last name)
- Corresponding author's e-mail address, phone#, and fax#
- Authors affiliations
- Key words
2. Abstract
This page must contain:
- An abstract of the manuscript not to exceed 350 words
- Key words: at least three keywords
- Abbreviations if applicable
3. Body Text
- This section must contain the whole manuscript and its sections as follows:
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Discussion (may be combined with Results)
- Acknowledgments if applicable
- References
References
All references must be cited in the text and in the alphabetical order in the "References" section. Only published and in press articles should be cited in the text and the references section. References must be written in text as follows: (Brown, 1996; Salek and Singh, 2006; Lightfoot et al., 2002). Authors must follow these directions to prepare the "References" section.

4. Tables and Figures
References must be followed by Tables and figures captions then tables and figures. Authors must follow these guidelines:
- Tables, figures and images must be numbered using Arabic numbers (Figure or Table 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.)
- Figures can be accepted in JPEG, TIF, and GIF formats
- Authors must paste the figures into Microsoft Word
- Figures and tables must be on the same file
- Manuscripts must be submitted in one file in Microsoft Word
Submission
Submit your article via the Manuscript Tracking System (MTS). If you have difficulties submitting via the MTS, please send your manuscript in one file to the Managing Editor and mention to which journal your manuscript is submitted in the cover letter or e-mail body. It is always good to send an e-mail to confirming that you have submitted a manuscript through the system and mention its title and to which journal it was submitted to.

Each manuscript must be accompanied by a cover letter where the corresponding author must state that:
1. All authors have read and approve the content of the manuscript
2. The manuscript has not been published or submitted to another journal
3. The manuscript is free of any plagiarism or copyrighted materials

Please submit you manuscript in Microsoft Word in one file containing the following items in order:
1. Title page with the article's title, authors, affiliations, and contact information of the corresponding author
2. Abstract not to exceed 350 words

3. Suggested Reviewers (optional):
Authors may elect to provide a list of 3-4 reviewers. In this case, please provide the names, affiliations, mailing addresses, and e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, and fax numbers of the proposed reviewers.
4. Receipt of the Manuscript:
The Editor-In-Chief or Managing Editor will send an e-mail to the corresponding author stating that the manuscript was received. Please send all required files via the MTS or to the Managing Editor .
Copyright Transfer Agreement Form:
Upon acceptance of an article, the corresponding author must sign and submit a Copyright Transfer Agreement Form before the manuscript is published.
Publication Charge
Atlas Publishing, LP charges $150-$200.00 (US Dollars) per manuscript published depending on the journal. Please refer to the journal's web page for the manuscript charges.
The charge will cover the daily maintenance of the website and overall operations of Atlas Publishing, LP. Atlas Publishing, LP may grant a discount exclusively for authors and institutions from developing countries. The discount amount will be determined by Atlas Publishing, LP on a case by case basis.
